I recently bought several baskets of figs at the farmer’s market. My family loves figs and would happily eat them all straight from the baskets. But I wanted to come up with a pretty and delicious way to eat them. I think they go great with honey and nuts with any fruit is a good idea.

How to make Figs & Pecans on Spiced Honey Cream Cheese
Start by making the cream cheese mixture. The cream cheese needs to be softened before you get started. Mix the cream cheese, honey and ginger with the salt, allspice, cloves and cinnamon. Continue mixing until smooth and complete incorporated. If you don’t have any of these spices, you can just use what you have. Ground ginger is fine if you don’t have grated ginger. If you don’t have allspice or cloves, just use cinnamon. Maybe add some nutmeg. It will turn out great with whatever spices you love.
Next quarter the figs and chop the pecans. I have made 8 servings in this example, but the cream cheese mixture and the recipe in general is enough for 16 servings.
Spread each cracker with some of the cream cheese mixture.
Top each with a quarter of fig, drizzle on more honey and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
Super easy, pretty enough for quests and so delicious!
